The ISO 26262 – Certified Internal Auditor exam evaluates your foundational knowledge of functional safety in automotive systems and the ISO 26262 standard. Below are the key details:
The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions, and a passing score of 70% (28 correct answers) is required.
There are no specific eligibility requirements for the ISO 26262 – Certified Internal Auditor certification.
The Exam Voucher, included in the Premium Package or purchased separately, is valid for two attempts. If you don’t pass within these attempts, you can purchase a new voucher for an additional two attempts.
The ISO 26262 – Certified Internal Auditor certificate is valid for life.
Displaying Your Certificate
When labeling a product or system as certified to an ISO standard, use the following format:
- Do not say: “ISO certified” or “ISO certification”
- Do say: “ISO 26262 – Certified Internal Auditor certification” (for example).
The exams are online and proctored, enabling candidates to take them remotely at any time, as long as they have a webcam and a stable internet connection.
